Every single candle is handmade to order so that we can guarantee that our product is
fresh and not left sitting on a shelf for 6 months. However we will get your orders out to you as quickly as possible and the majority
of orders will be delivered within 7 days providing cheque clearance - in most cases sooner. Large orders may take slightly
longer but if your order will take more that 7 days we will let you know. Please note if you select next day delivery you will still need to
wait up to 7 days for your candles to be made and they will be sent out Next Day Delivery as soon as they are ready.
What is your delivery charge for the UK?
Our delivery charge for delivery to a UK address is weight based. The shopping cart
will automatically calculate how much shipping will be for your order. You can select different shipping methods from the drop down box at checkout.
What happens if I am not at home when the parcel is delivered?
Please ensure that the delivery address you have given is one where there is usually somebody home to accept
the package as signature is required. If you have selected Next Day delivery you must ensure there is someone at home to sign for the parcel. Unfortunately if there is nobody
available to sign for the parcel the courier will re-deliver however you will be charged a futher £9.00 delivery charge. The courier will then attempt a second delivery and again if no-one available
to sign a further £9.00 re-delivery is charged. A further £9.00 will be charged for a further re-delivery and if there is still no one available to sign your goods will be
returned to Candles by Lisa with a further £9.00 delivery charge to send the goods back to yourself
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment can be made by either the shopping cart or by cheque, money order or postal order in UK pounds sterling.
Please note that we cannot accept money orders or cheques in any other currency than UK pounds sterling. Please make all cheques payable to L. Fleming
Can I order over the telephone
Of course! Please call and speak to Lisa on 0141 586 5211 with your order. If nobody
is free to take your call leave a message on the answering machine and we will get back to you.
Is your webiste secure?
Yes! Ordering through our shopping cart is very secure! You will see the padlock on the bottom right hand corner of your
screen (browser depending!) when you reach the page to input your card details to assure you that you are on a secure website. Your credit card details are processed securely by Paypal
and we do not have any acces to your card information!
Do you ship overseas?
We happily ship our beautiful candles all over the world and postage is charged at cost based on the exact weight of your order. The shopping cart will automatically calculate a £5.90 GBP delivery charge, but please be aware that this is only for deliveries within the British Isles and it is likely that you will need to pay extra to cover the exact cost for delivery of your package.
We encourage our overseas customers to email for a shipping quote prior to placing an order through the shopping cart. If you provide a list of the items you wish to order, the shipping charges based on weight can be calculated. We will be able to give you several options from express to slow boat and you can select your preference! Payment can then be made via PayPal using your credit card. Please note unless you specifically request insurance at an extra cost, your package will be sent uninsured. We cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage on uninsured packages sent outside of the UK.
How do discounts or other special offers work?
We try to keep things as simple as possible (for you and for us!). Sales and special offers are automatically set up in the shopping cart
so the discounts will be automatically reflected. The price you see is the price you pay!!
How do I order a different colour of candle, chunk candles or glitter to the candle?
All you need to do is mark the drop down boxes with the selections you wish.
What is your returns policy?
You have 7 days in which to inform Candles by Lisa of any items you are not satisfied with
(which is an unlikely event!) or which are damaged. These must be returned unlit and in their original packaging. Return postage is not refundable. We guarantee
our candles and if you are not satisfied with any product please return for exchange or refund.
What if I want to cancel my order?
You may cancel any order within 24 hours of placing it, as long as it has not been dispatched.
If it has you will need to inform us within 7 days of receipt and is subject to the terms above.
Privacy Policy
Candles by Lisa is 100% comitted to protecting your privacy. The information collected about you when
you buy through the shopping cart is used to process your order and nothing else. You will only receive emails from Candles by Lisa in the following circumstance...
When you place an order you will receive confirmation to set out the details of your order and confirm that the order and delivery details are correct. You may also receive
additional emails to inform you of the progress of your order until it is shipped.
Information submitted is only available to Lisa and nobody else. It is used purely to contact you about your order. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to
others!!
